Project Origin becomes F.E.A.R 2

F.E.A.R 2: Project origin. That’s the name of the game labeled, until now, as the “spiritual sequal” for F.E.A.R, which now becomes its true sequel. The naming issues came after Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment acquired Monolith Productions. Monolith had developed the first chapter of the F.E.A.R series under the control of Vivendi Universal Games.
In order to establish a name for the F.E.A.R sequel, Warner Bros. and Monolith had even placed a survey on June 2007, which had decided upon “Project Origin” as the new name for the sequel. The new chapter of the series, regardless of its name, will continue the story from the first chapter, exactly where they had been stopped.
F.E.A.R 2 will be available in the market from February, 2009, for PC, XBox 360 and Playstation 3.
