Warhammer Online available in stores
According to what has been confirmed by EA Mythic, Warhammer Online should be already in retail stores since yesterday. The shipping to retail had been scheduled officially for September, 15th. There has been a record of pre-ordering for this highly-anticipated game, with more than 1.5 million units already sold into retail.
“This is truly a historic day for both EA and Mythic as we prepare to send more copies of WAR to retailers than any other newly launched MMORPG in North America and Europe. Over the course of our beta, over a million gamers throughout the world sent a clear signal to us - they want WAR, and we are more than happy to oblige them,”said Mark Jacobs.
The official game launch is scheduled for next Thursday, September 18th. Those who pre-ordered the game have already been granted an early entry into the servers on September 14th.
