Far Cry 2: details about the multiplayer mode

There will be four multiplayer modes in Far Cry 2, the new chapter on the shooter series developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch are very similar to any other FPS game, but Capture the Diamond and Uprising seem much more original. The first one is similar to a Capture the Flag mode, just adapted to the game’s african theme. In the Uprising mode, players must escort and protect an important character.Ubisoft has also announced that there will not be a Far Cry 2 demo version. “It’s too complex to create a demo out of an open-ended game like Far Cry 2″, says the company. As it was previously announced, the game should be available in Europe from October 23rd for PC, Playstation 3 and XBox 360.
