No mods for the PC version of Fallout 3
Pete Hines has revealed that there are no plants for a mod tool launch for the PC version of Fallout 3. “People seem to expect that everytime we make a game, there will be a mod tool attached to it. We’ve explained more than once that it takes a lot of time and effort to make those tools ready for release, and therefore, it’s not scheduled for now. We need to make sure the game is ready to launch. I don’t mean we don’t want to do it, but right now we have so much work to do, building the game in three different platforms and several different languages that we cannot think of anything else. We can’t say, at the moment, that there will be mod tools and when they will be available”. Those words exclude any possibility of seeing mod tools for the PC version at launch day or even shortly after. However, the possibility for mod tools in the future still remains.
