Collector’s Edition for Call of Duty: World at War
The new episode of the Call of Duty series, World of War, has followed the “Collector’s Edition” tendency as it could be expected. Here are the details about the rich package that Activision will offer for the game’s fans. There are also, other than the “tangible” gifts, some digital advantages on the package as well.
Here are the details:
- A metal box, decorated with the game’s theme (and big enough to store other games as well)
- A stainless steel flask, with the same style used on the Second World War by the soldiers
- “Day 1 Edge”, which at first was speculated to be an introduction to a possible fee for the Call of Duty online mode, and now has been revealed as being something much less polemic. It’s nothing more than a rifle, the FG 42 Machine Gun, which usually is available to advanced levels (45+), but it’ll be available soon for the Collector’s Edition owners.
- Double Experience: direct access for a double experience week in the multiplayer option (the precise dates will be announced in the game’s official site)
- Colored Clan Tag - an exclusive, colored clan tag for the multiplayer option (which will probably make the “VIP” players much more recognizable). Here’s a picture of the contents found in the Collector’s Edition:
