XBox 360 doubles the sales over PS3 in Europe
After Microsoft reduced the prices of their XBox 360 line, the sales for the console have increased of 214% in the last two weeks in Europe. Due to the exceptional commercial profit of XBox 360, Microsoft is already preparing for a big Christmas season by raising their production scale.
The company has also already launched a new advertising campaign for the XBox 360 line, which includes movie, radio and TV ads, and also a restyling of the Xbox.com site. Their main advertising line consists of three words: Family, children and movies.
More than six million XBox 360 units have been sold since its first launch, with 2.3 million sold only in Great Britain alone.
