Nintendo announces the Wii Speak channel
During its American conference, Nintendo announced the arrival of a new channel for the Wii: The Wii Speak Channel. As the name itself says, it’s an online channel connected to the usage of the Wii Speak microphone, presented to the public during the last E3.
According to what has been explained by Cammy Dunaway during the press conference, this channel will allow users to voice chat with up to 4 people simultaneously. Users will find, together with the microphone pack as soon as it hits the stores, coupons to be used to download the Wii Speak channel for free.
No further information has been revealed, such as prices, compatibilities with non-Nintendo USB microphones and more channel features. We’ll be tuned.
