Star Ocean for PSP: Launch dates
Square Enix has announced the launch dates for Star Ocean: First Departure, a remake of the first chapter of this RPG series that were originally created for SNES, but never managed to make it outside the Japanese market. Obviously on this new version, the game has been updated and revisited, with a graphics, an evolved combat system, and animated dubbed scenes that tell the game’s story in a more appealing way.
Star Ocean: First Departure will be available in stores on October 24th. Tri-Ace is currently busy developing the fourth chapter of the series (this one completely new) which is scheduled to be launched for XBox 360 sometime next year. There’s also another remake: Star Ocean 2 in the works, also for the PSP.
