Nintendo says: “DSi isn’t an answer to the iPhone”
Satoru Iwata declared, on an interview to the famous Japanese magazine Nikkei, that the restyling of Nintendo’s portable console, the recently-announced DSi, isn’t a direct answer to Apple’s iPhone, or to Sony’s PSP. The new DSi has a number of added multimedia elements, such as a photocamera, internal browser, support for downloadable contents; elements that were missing on the DS but that the competition had already made available.
“We want to create a product that naturally fits the user demands”, says Iwata, “and that can be used at any time”.
More information on the new Nintendo DSi can be found on previous articles.
