The next Blizzard MMORPG won’t be a WoW Sequel
Blizzard’s CEO, Mike Morhaime, has talked once more about the new MMORPG in the works, the “next-gen MMORPG” that was mentioned several times, but never quite explained.
Morhaime has told Wired that the game won’t be a World of Warcraft sequel. “I can tell you this, it will not be a World of Warcraft Sequel. It’ll be different, we won’t try to replace World of Warcraft with this new MMO, we’re trying to create a different experience, and we actualy hope WoW will continue to be successful even after the new game is released”.
