Gears of War 2 won’t be launched in Germany and Japan

It wasn’t too hard to predict that the German XBox 360 users wouldn’t have the chance to play Gears of Wars 2, due to the heavy censorship policies that are present in Germany, since not even the first chapter of the game was available in the country. The big news is that the Japanese users will follow the same path: the game will not be launched in Japan, contrarily to what happened with the first chapter, which even had a rather decent success amongst Japanese players. The reasons for the decision aren’t yet known, but it’s easy to assume that they’re connected to the amount of violence present in the game.Related Posts
