The “leaked” version of the New XBox Experience disables the connection to XBox Live

The expectation for the new dashboard update on the XBox 360, the so-called “New XBox Experience” is currently comparable to that of a big game title. Therefore, it’s not surprising that a pack containing the update has been spotted in illegal download channels.Obviously, trying to force the update through those means bring consequences: first, the impossibility of connecting to XBox Live until November 19th, and also the possibility of getting a more drastic reaction from Microsoft, such as the complete banning from the XBox Online service.
So, it’s recommended to wait a few more days and get the update normally.
