Nintendo DSi sold out in Japan
It’s not really surprising, but according to the JCN estimates, all the Nintendo DSi supplies distributed in Japan were sold out in the first four commercial days. It wasn’t exactly a big distribution in any case, but considering that the new revision of the Nintendo DS doesn’t aim to be a huge revolution for the portable console, the result is definitely positive.
200.000 units have been made available for sales, 170.000 of those being sold in the first two days (more or less the same quantity of Nintendo DS units sold per week). For the moment, the Nintendo DSi is sold out, but from tomorrow on there should already be a new load of 100.000 more units on the market.
Of course, that’s all about the Japanese market. The Western markets shouldn’t see the new DSi before next summer, in any case.
