An Eve-based FPS to be developed?

When it comes to the the MMORPG world, Eve Online surely deserves an honorable mention. The game has been able to compete, with an uncommon game structure, with other MMO titles that could be considered “safer”. Apparently, the CCP developers have the intention of using the game’s fame to create some sort of spin-off, presented briefly together with the new expansion for the MMO. As the CCP’s bosses, Hilmar Petursson and Nathan Richardsson have confirmed to have a “console-related game strategy”, referring specifically to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a new shooter game has appeared, with a style similar to Halo and weapon / vehicle designs similar to Eve, set on a place similar to Earth. We will be tuned for more information about this interesting project.
