No special announcement for Fable II this week
A few days ago, Lionhead had pre-announced some “big” news for Fable II, which should have been revealed this week. However, it has been officially confirmed through the official blog that the announcement won’t be coming this week. “I know what you’re thinking, but no, I’m afraid this is not the BIG news that got me (and most of you) so excited last week. The big bods over in Redmond decided that, this week wasn’t the time to tell you what that announcement is we have ready here in Guildford”, the blog says. “For those of you who are waiting for the “big one” - stay tuned, Microsoft assures me that we can announce it on Monday 24th. If not, I will fly over there and slam my fist on a desk. Like, really hard!”
However, the blog’s spokesperson has announced the newest Fable II New XBox Experience themes, in order to celebrate the launch of the new dashboard. It seems that the upheaval around the launch of the New Xbox Experience made Microsoft postpone any Fable II news at least for this week.
We’ll stay tuned.
