Fallout 3: new downloadable contents announced.
Bethesda has announced their intentions on the add-ons for Fallout 3 yesterday. The game’s Creation Kit, called G.E.C.K (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) is an editor that will allow players to create customized contents in order to enhance the original experience, and it will be available free, from December on, only for the PC version of Fallout 3. It should be a rather complex tool, in fact, that would allow players to create full new gaming areas (inserting different scenario elements) and populate it with characters, building full new quests with many dialogues to be written.
As for the most common DLC contents, for now there are three packs that should arrive in January, February and March, respectively:
- -Operation: Anchorage, a military simulation of one of the biggest battles in the Fallout universe, the liberation of Anchorage, in Alaska, from Chinese invaders.
- The Pitt, that will take us to the industrial city called The Pitt, in the Pittsburg ruins, in which players will take part on an ongoing war and will have to choose which faction to support.
- Broken Steel, leading players to the Brotherhood of Steel, in order to distroy whatever remains of the Enclave inside of Capital Wasteland.
