The first expansion of Warhammer Online isn’t yet in the works

Mark Jacobs, Mythic Entertainment’s boss, has revealed that the first expansion of their MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, isn’t yet amongst the list of projects in the works. The development of this expansion may thus require a longer time, before the finished product reaches the market. “We won’t start developing it until we finish doing many more things in WAR. The expansion can wait a bit, but the main game cannot”.Once the development team starts working on the expansion pack, they will need some time to finish it, according to Jacobs. In the meantime, players can wait for the Update 1.1 that should be released this week and add two new playable classes, mssions and a revamping of the open-world pvp.
