Launch date of the DSi: only for the US
For now, no good news for European fans, as Nintendo continues to give no information about the launch of their DSi for the European continent. And while up till now, it was a mystery for all the Western markets, now only Europe keeps in “the dark”, as Nintendo has announced the launch on the United States, scheduled for April 5th for the price of $170.
When asked about the European launch date, a Nintendo UK’s representative simply answered with: “No comment on this one”. Why the mystery? We don’t really know, but we can’t help but hope that something will be revealed soon enough. There are rumors of an Australian DSI release in July, which makes us hopeful that something similar will happen for the other PAL territories, including Europe.
We’ll be tuned.
