Activision denies rumors about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
There were many rumors that gave out many details about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 circling the net last night, and today, Activision labeled them “completely unfounded”.
The rumors claimed that a mysterious tester would have published a long list of features on Infinity Ward’s Tweeter page, and that this list was removed soon after by the developers. Besides some details about the game mechanics, there was a launch date (that we retain actually rather plausible) scheduled for next November.
“It didn’t come from anyone who has access to our internal builds and indeed contains several features that are already in CoD4 such as grass camo for snipers. In short, it’s BS”. Those were the words from Robert “Fourzerotwo” Bowling, Call of Duty’s Community Manager.
This one dismissed as a rumor, we’ll be tuned on possible future news.
