Dante’s Inferno is back with a series of new images and artworks, released a few hours ago by Electronic Arts. It seems obvious that the similarities with God of War are there, and perhaps they shouldn’t be seen in a negative way, and the reinterpretation of Dante’s Divine Comedy is a little “fantasy-based”, the hype around this game grows day by day.
In any case, before we leave you to the images, we remind you all that Dante’s Inferno will arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 in the first months of 2010.
Enjoy the images!

A new video-interview to Justin Richmond, Naughty Dog’s game designer, has appeared on the pages of the PlayStation.Blog, and included on the interview, there’s a sneak-peak of the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which unleashed the hype after being officially announced by Sony on April 27th.
From this interview and the previous video, it seems that the online muliplayer mode will be similar to Metal Gear Online, although it seems to feature more fluid and hectic gaming mechanics. As for the co-op mode, Richmond says that it won’t be a single campaign played by more than one person, we’ll have to see what he means about that. The game will also feature a store where to spend points acquired from the many different modes.
On the same blog, Jeff Rubestein has declared that European players will be able to try the Uncharted 2 beta, without giving any further details. We’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, enjoy the video!

It’s worth reminding you all that part of the hype around this title is exactly due to the fact of Bill Roper’s presence on the developing team: for those that don’t know, Roper was one of the minds responsible for many gaming masterpieces such as StarCraft and Diablo.
Champions Online will be launched on July for PC and XBox 360.

In the image gallery we’ll show at the end of this post, you’ll be able to see the new graphic filters that will be present on the PC version of Street Fighter IV. Those filters aren’t available on the console versions, and they don’t change the playability, simply the graphics.
The launch date for the PC version of Street Fighter IV hasn’t been determined yet, and it will be revealed on May 1st.

Well, since the “electrifying” announcement from Sony was revealed and it featured the news of an exclusive access to Uncharted 2’s multiplayer mode for those that pre-order inFamous 2 on May 26th, it’s pretty much a confirmation that the multiplayer mode for Uncharted 2 does exist. Can’t get more official than that.
Or maybe it can? More confirmation came from the PlayStation Blog’s pages, where Sony has in fact explained that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will have a multiplayer mode featuring two different types: competitive (10 players divided in groups of 5 in a deathmatch style) and co-op, with the presence of 3 players in the same match.
The beta will start, for those that pre-order inFamous 2 and get exclusive access, on June 3rd. And before we go, we’ll leave you with an official trailer released by Naughty Dog. Enjoy!

According to the official Gears of War 2 forum, JoeGraf from Epic Games has announced the developing of a new update to the multiplayer component of the XBox 360 exclusive shooter.
It’s a corrective patch that will enhance, yet again, the automatic search feature for the multiplayer sessions, which is a little debatable, since in order to solve the lag problems, they’ve decided to raise the access time for those with slow internet connections.
Not so debatable is, however, the choice of creating a new sub-menu through which the Horde mode will be extended to all the users that have one or more additional map packs. Hopefully the guys from Epic Games will change the online component of Gears of War 2 in a wise way this time, so we’ll wait for more information!
