Rumors: The Lord of the Rings Online for XBox 360?

The latest rumors about Turbine is that the company would be working on an XBox 360 version of their MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. Months ago, the company announced to be working on an MMORPG for the Microsoft console.

When questioned by a few journalists, PR director Adam Mersky didn’t say much, except repeating what everyone already knew, refusing to give any other information except that the company is working on a console MMO and working with Microsoft and Sony.

The new project should be presented at the next E3 2009, and that will clear many rumors and doubts.
