Max Payne 3: new details and first images from Game Informer
The rumors that the guys from Game Informer had the intentions of talking about Max Payne 3 in a world exclusive were indeed true. The third chapter of Agent Payne’s saga, currently being developed by Rockstar Games, was finally revealed in the pages of the famous American magazine. Here are some of the details:
- The game takes place 12 years after the Max Payne 2 story
- Escaping from New York in order to cut ties with the past, Max will now be found in Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Max Payne will have a high dependency on painkillers and this characteristic, besides making him a lot more rude, will directly influence the game action and his behavior throughout the history
- The game scenaries, much bigger than the previous two chapters, will be completely explorable
- The game engine is the RAGE, the same of GTA IV
- The online multiplayer is said to be present, although the details remain unknown.Hoping that the guys from Rockstar Games will announce the launch date soon, we’ll leave you to the Game Informer scans. For now, the launch date is set for this winter, on PC, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.
