Bethesda not raising the maximum level on Fallout 3
Jeff Gardiner from Bethesda has given an interview for the MTV Multiplayer site saying that there are no plans to raise the maximum experience level on Fallout 3, as he thinks such a thing would unbalance the game:
“”I know from the outside this seems like a fairly simple proposition, but doing this could unbalance the game in a variety of ways.”
The raising of the level cap is a very common usage on many RPGs and MMORPGs, and in many cases it comes together with expansions or DLC’s. The fourth and more recent expansion for Fallout 3 currently on the market is Point Lookout, with Mothership Zeta coming soon.
