Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to be launched for Wii
Activision has officially announced the “porting” of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to the Wii, after winning the Game of the Year award on 2007 on its PC, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. The game will be developed by Treyarch and it will be called simply Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, without the number 4 on the title.
The game is scheduled to launch on November 10th, which brings the number of Call of Duty titles launched in that day up to 3: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: MObilized, for the Nintendo DS and now Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the Wii.
