The Star Wars fans will certainly remember the planet Alderaan, which was somewhat of a green Paradise before the Empire destroyed it. Well, Alderaan will be part of the new Star Wars: The Old Republic, although thinking of what would happen in the “future” could make some of the fans sad.

On February 9th, Bioshock 2’s fans will have the opportunity to grab one of the Limited Editions of the game. 2K Games has released some details about it. According to them, the Limited Edition will be truly Limited, as after the first release, it won’t be printed again, despite what users might ask.
The Limited Edition will cost $99.99 for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 and $89.99 for the PC version. The high cost comes from the contents of the Limited Edition, which include:
- The game (duh?)
- A vinyl LP and a CD with the soundtrack
- A 164-page artbook with the illustrations commented by the developers

Assassin’s Creed 2 is finally in stores, and now the guys from GamesWire made a series of comparative images between the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.
As the images will tell you, the graphic engine developed behind the Ubisoft Montreal game, called Anvil, definitely managed to make the two versions almost identical.

The guys from Ubisoft have finally released the complete short movie, Assassin’s Creed: Lineage, that was released in three episodes. The movie has roughly 35 minutes and it tells the story of Giovanni Auditore, Ezio’s father.
The game will be launched tomorrow for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, while the PC users will have to wait until the first trimester of 2010. Enjoy the movie on this link!

Electronic Arts has announced that Command & Conquer 4 will be launched in Europe on March 19, 2010, three days after the release in North America, and giving those that pre-order the game an early access to the beta, the soundtrack and an exclusive mission.
We remind you all that the game will only be launched for PC.

Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines is scheduled to be launched together with Assassin’s Creed 2, for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, and today we bring you a new video for the PSP game.
Assasssin’s Creed: Blodlines is set between the first and the second chapters and it’ll show brand new memories from Altair, giving the Ubisoft’s story a more complete view.
Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines is scheduled to launch on November 20th in exclusive for the PSP.

The guys from Visceral Games have announced that the demo for Dante’s Inferno will be available in December for both PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, giving players the possibility of trying the first level of the game, which corresponds to The Gates of Hell. It’s the entire first level of the game as well.
The full version of the game will be launched on February 12th, 2010.

SEGA has announced on their official blog that there will be a special edition of Bayonetta for the European and Australian markets, with pictures and details on the contents. However, the special edition seems to be reserved for France, Spain and England, at least for now.
The Special Edition will feature an artbook and the soundtrack, besides the game, of course. Before we leave you to the images, we remind you all that the game will be launched on January 8th for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360.

Less then ten days to go until Assassin’s Creed 2 is launched, and Ubisoft has released a bunch of new, high-definition images. There are 17 different images now that show different game scenes that put many of the new features in the game in evidence.
We’ll leave you to the beautiful images and remind you that Assassin’s Creed 2 is scheduled to launch on November 17th in the US, and November 20th in Europe, for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, while PC users will have to wait until the first trimester of 2010.
