Crysis 2: new details from PC Games
After revealing the first impressive images for Crysis 2, Crytek and PC Games continue to deliver more interesting information, directly from the German version of the magazine. Here’s what we could find out:
- Crysis 2 will be placed three years after the first chapter, and users will play as a Delta Force soldier, sent by the US Army in order to stop the alien invasion in New York. Aliens in game have already devastated Rio de Janeiro, Londra and Tokyo.
- The “Speed” and “Power” modes on the Nanosuit will be combined in order to create a new “Tactical” mode, which will allow players to scan the surroundings in order to discover the aliens’ exact position
- Thanks to the skyscrapers, the playability will also be done vertically, allowing players to attack enemies from above, for example.
- All the images in the magazine are from the XBox 360 version.
At this point, we are still waiting for an official launch date for Crysis 2, which is however going to happen this year. The game will be launched for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360.
