Fable III has been giving a few things to talk about lately, either for the uncertainty from Peter Molyneux about the lack of combat during the first half-hour of the game, and the confirmation that many DLCs will come in shape of episodes. Now, it’s time for a new official screenshot, taken from the Facebook profile for the game.Lionhead published this image on their Facebook profile, writing the following words:
In the last couple of weeks our Fable III game has changed immensely; graphics have been upgraded, new features have been fine-tuned and lots of new voices, clothes and weapons - and more - went in. One of our testers took a screenshots last week that is well worth sharing! Hope you all like it…
Fable III should be launched by the end of November. For the XBox 360, of course.

The game will be launched for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360, and its development will be led by Ryota Niitsuma, responsible also for the great Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. The launch date hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep tuned.

The guys from Crytek have finally released new official images from Crysis 2, screenshots and artworks, of course. Although, we still know little about the plotline, except that it’ll be set in New York, year 2023, and that the players will work to defend the human race from aliens, with an improved nanosuit.
But we won’t be speaking much this time, as the images are worth checking. Crysis 2 will be launched by the end of this year for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360.

Today’s the launch date for Splinter Cell: Conviction, on its XBox 360 version, and thanks to the guys on VG247, we will show a video featuring the first twenty minutes of in-game footage. Not much else to say, really.
The PC version will be launched on April 30th, so you PC users should be tuned for that. Reminding you all that the guys from Ubisoft Montreal have confirmed that there will be free DLCs every week for those XBox 360 users on the game’s XBox Live page, such as new weapons, objects and clothes to use in single mode and in the many different online multiplayer modes.

Those users that have both a PlayStation 3 and an XBox 360 and want to purchase Crysis 2 for the console when it’s launched, can take an advice from Crytek’s Carl Jones. Jones claimed that for now, the PlayStation 3 version gives a better performance, even if he also claims they are “small differences”.
But that’s for now, and since the game won’t be launched until the end of the year, there’s still time for improvement by the Crytek guys.

Gears of War 3 finally shows itself on its first official trailer, called “Ashes to Ashes”. The video was presented on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show, and it shows the four characters, Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird. The interview with Cliffy Bleszinski also revealed a third enemy race called Lambent, that has mutant powers.
But here’s the thing: the game was announced to be launched on April 8th, 2011! A year to go still, and we have the first trailer? Yes, it sounds strange, but that’s how it is. We can hope for an earlier launch though.

With the countdown on the Crysis 2’s teaser site over, a bunch of new info has finally been released. We’ll try to summarize them, but it will be hard. But let’s see!
First of all, Cevat Yerli, Crytek’s president, has declared to VG247 that the console version of Crysis 2 hasn’t been “scaled back”. In fact, most of the programmers’ work was done in optimizing the CryEngine 3 to the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 hardware. In that sense, the game will never go under 30 FPS in the consoles, as Yerli has stated.
The multiplayer component has been brought forward by fourty developers from Free Radical, the British company bought by Crytek last year. And EA has also announced that in order to enhance the narrative part of Crysis 2, they’ve hired Richard Morgan, a famous sci-fi writer that is the name behind “Altered Carbon” and “Broken Angel”.
And… now for the new images and video. Reminding you all that Crysis 2 is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 by the end of this year.
