Nintendo of America’s president, REggie FIls-Aime, was a guest in the Jimmy Fallown show, in order to present some of the news shown at the E3 2010. Besides showing a live demonstration of Donkey Kong Country: Returns, Reggie has also shown the new Nintendo 3DS, and confirmed the launch in the USA in 2011.
Nintendo had already officially confirmed that the 3DS will be launched in different markets in 2011, with the “latest” date being March 2011, including now the USA, and there’s the possibility only one region will get to see the new portable console in 2010.
We’ll wait for more information on the matter, but here’s the video from the Jimmy Fallow Show. Enjoy!

Crysis 2 comes back with a new video, called Marine Salvage. As the title indicates, the video shows a few salvage scenes, put together to be as captivating as possible.
It’s not all, however, as during the video we can see “pieces” of Manhattan destroyed by the Alien Invasion. Before we leave you to the video, we remind you all that Crysis 2 will be launched during the Christmas season for the PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and PC.
Enjoy!

After showing the great debut video, Mortal Kombat is back with a video filled with played sequences and fatalities. The game is promising, both in the graphics and playability, at least from what we can see at the moment. The intentions of going back to the origins seem to be confirmed with the new title. Maybe this could be the good opportunity for a revival of the franchise. We hope so.
Mortal Kombat is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, date still to be decided. Enjoy the video!

After having officially announced Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, now we present a video-tutorial that explains how the multiplayer will be offered in the third chapter of the famous action title.
As explained in the video, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood offers many different game modes and different usable characters (at this point in development there are eight, more should be added upon the game’s launch), and once the character’s chosen, it’s possible to explore the game map (which is huge, compared to the previous chapters). The objective is to kill a specific person without being caught.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be launched on November 16th for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. Enjoy the video!

Despite other resellers confirming the price for Kinect at $149,99, Microsoft has done the same, making it official now. The price was confirmed in the Kinect-dedicated page on the Microsoft Store.
After all these “confirmations”, we can say that it’s more than likely that the price for the Kinect will be $149,99 at least in the USA. Of course, those aren’t really official just as yet, as the price could still change for a reason or another.
We’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from Microsoft, but it’s doubtful that the price will be any different from the one reported on the Microsoft Store. We’ll see.

During Sony’s conference at the E3 2010, they showed a pre-alpha video for Killzone 3, and released some more details about the third chapter of the series. It’ll be set in a very cold part of Planet Helgast, with snow and ice surrounding the scenario. Also confirmed is the presence of a jetpack, that players will be able to use to reach inaccessible zones.
The graphics seem enhanced when compared to Killzone 2, and there were some very realistic animations during the brief movie. Another confirmation was the compatibility with PlayStation Move, from the launch date. And of course, the launch date: Killzone 3 will be launched on February 2011, exclusively to the PlayStation 3.

One of the games presented during the EA conference at the E3 2010 was Star Wars: The Old Republic. LucasArts and BioWare have revealed the presence of spaceships to every players, which will act somewhat like a house.
Together with this new detail, a new video was also presented, and we’ll show it by the end of the post. Of course, needless to say, the whole game looks very, very nice. No official launch date yet, though.
Enjoy the video!

Those that followed the Microsoft conference during the E3 2010 have seen a teaser trailer for a mysterious game from Crytek in exclusive to the Xbox 360.The game’s being developed together with Microsoft Game Studios and the project doesn’t even have an official title: the few suppositions can be made thanks to the narrative component and the nature of the project, currently hidden under the codename “kingdoms”. The history seems to be set back in Ancient Rome and a series of main characters, gladiators that seem to have escaped from their slavery. The only thing that seems to be confirmed is that the engine will be the CryEngine 3, that will debut for PC and Console with the highly-awaited Crysis 2.
We know nothing else about the title, yet, but we’ll be tuned. In the meantime, check the teaser trailer! Enjoy!
