One of the titles that are missing on the new Rare lineup (and that would be really welcomed by many players) is Killer Instinct. Back when it reached the Arcades on 1994, the title aimed at the graphics as their strong point, together with a very bizarre control system that allowed for enormous combos.

But looking at those Piñata cards, collectable cards that are available on the Live Vision Camera in order to have new creatures inside Viva Piñata, rumors started floating around about a possible Killer Instinct 3, since the cards feature three characters from the famous fighting game.

In fact, Rare is known for adopting this type of policy when it comes to new games, anticipating some of them inside other titles, as it happened with the first Killer Instinct that was shown inside Donkey Kong Country 2, and the second one inside Diddy Kong Racing.

Those are only rumors, so far, but we will be tuned on a possible announcement from Rare.
