The name is Move. Not Arc or Gem as it was rumored before. It’s official now, and it was announced by Sony during the conference in San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference. As it was previously seen, the Move will feature also an optional nunchuck, sold separately with the Playstation Eye or in bundle with the PS3. The launch date is scheduled for this Autumn for a price that is expected to be under $100.
A bunch of titles will feature support upon the launch, such as Move Party, SOCOM 4, LittleBigPlanet, a fighter title (not better specified) and the Sports Champion, which is a sort of Wii Sports, created by what Sony defines “The next fronteer on motion controllers”.
Ubisoft, Sega, Activision, EA and Capcom are some of the game publishers involved in the support to Move. We’ll present the official presentation trailer after this post. Enjoy!

This time we have good images about Fallout New Vegas, released by the guys from Bethesda. From the images, it seems that Fallout New Vegas keeps the same feeling as Fallout 3, which is one of the strong points on the series and what made it one of the most famous games in the market.
In any case, we’ll leave you to the image, reminding you all that Fallout: New Vegas will be launched for PC, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 this Autumn.

While we wait for EA and Crytek to give the green light for us to post the first official images for Crysis 2, we’ll talk about the press-conference that Crytek has released on their own website, and that reveals some interesting news for PC users. Cevat Yerli and the team have indeed announced that a CryEngine 3 version featuring Stereoscopic 3D will be brought to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) which will take place from March 11th to March 13th in San Francisco.
For the occasion, they’ll also give more information about the LiveCreate function on the developing tool, that allows designers to work with a single editor, but see and play the results in real-time on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
While we wait to be able to post the first images of Crysis 2 and more information and videos about the S-3D feature on the CryEngine 3, we’ll leave you to a CryEngine 3 demo video. Enjoy!

2K Games has announced the first DLCs for BioShock 2, scheduled to be launched in March. It’s a pack called Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, dedicated to the Muliplayer (400 microsoft points and €4.99) and a second pack dedicated to the single player mode that doesn’t have a launch date or official name announced yet.
The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack includes:
- A higher multiplayer level cap (50) with new level rewards
- Two additional characters: Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca
- 20 new trials
- Five new masks for character
- A third weapon “enhancement” for each weapon.
We don’t know much about the Single player pack, except the fact that it will bring “more narrative, more tools and challenges that will extend the story”. We’ll have to wait and see.

The scans from the Crysis 2 special featured in the latest Official PlayStation Magazine UK number have reached our hands, and together with a series of new game screenshots, we can also read the interesting analysis from the magazine’s direction, Gary Steinman.
“Yes, it’s a PC franchise. But when it’s widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters to ever grace the big gray box, it matters. But that’s not the only reason I put Crysis 2 on the cover. A few months back, an old friend at EA snuck in to PTOM towers and showed me top-secret footage of the game in action. It was stunning – better looking than almost anything I’ve ever seen on PS3. and here’s the best part: All the glorious wreckage, the metropolitan carnage, the dynamic lighting and the realtime destruction, was generated not on a PC, nor an Xbox, but PS3.
Yep this baby is being built to take advantage of the massive power the PS3 offers – which is nothing to scoff at, considering Crytek’s original Crysis was almost unplayable on anything but the highest-end PCs when it was released.
Five minutes after my pal left, I began the push to be the first magazine to reveal Crysis 2’s true glory. And here we are.”
Interesting info, we say. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. But we’ll leave you to the scans now. Enjoy!

The new expansion for Dragon Age: Origins will bring new characters. Among those, there will be Velanna, a female elf that has some issues relating to humans.
Among some of her main features, indeed, there’s the hate for humans, an element that could cause a bit of problems for those who decided to play humans. We’ll present a video by the end of the post that presents Velanna. In the meantime, we’ll remind you all that Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening will be launched on March 16th for PC, PS3 and XBox 360.

For those who love Will Wright’s games, Electronic Arts seems to have decided to launch Spore and The Sims 3 also for the console. During the Financial report presentation, John Riccitello has confirmed the intention of bringing the latest chapter of The Sims and the monsters from Spore to the console.
Now all we need to do is wait to see which consoles it’ll be launched for, and whether the game mechancis will change or not. But in any case, we won’t know anything until the first trimester of 2011, which is the period chosen for the launch of these games to the Console.
