After reassuring players about the important changes in Dragon Age II when compared to the previous chapter, the guys from BioWare show us the first game sequences for the next chapter of their Fantasy title.

Differently from Origins, the story will bring players to personify a human hero: players can change class, gender and physical aspect, but Hawke will always be a human. In any case, we’ll leave you to the video and remind you all that Dragon Age II is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 between February and March 2011.

After some of the new information released about Dragon Age II, it seemed, at least to some fans, that BioWare would have brought some changes to the game. Despite all the information being related to the main character, Hawke, many fans were unhappy with the lack of choices in race: players will be able to choose gender, class and aspect, but the main character will remain a human throughout the game, which makes it similar to Mass Effect, for example.

The other change that was announced is that the main character will be voice-acted. That’s when David Gaider, head writer for Dragon Age II, had to intervene to cease the panic amongst the fans.

“People appear to be acting as if the scant details we’ve revealed are all they’ll ever learn about the game ever, and they’re thus required to render judgment immediately,” reveals Gaider, in a post on the BioWare forums. “You might, in fact, want to see exactly how we’re implementing these features you dislike and seeing for yourself whether they differ from, say, Mass Effect’s. There are similarities, of course, but there are also differences.”

Dragon Age II will be launched on March 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. We’ll be seeing the first trailer at EA’s press conference next month during GamesCom.

Contrarily to what was seen in Dragon Age: Origins, Game Informer has published that Hawke, the main character in Dragon Age 2 will be fully voice-acted, but there won’t be the choice of race in this case: he or she will always be a human.

Like Shepard in Mass Effect, Hawke will be the focus point on the story in Dragon Age 2. During the ten years-span on the storyline, the choices players make will influence the story, the relationships and feelings that the main character will have.

Dragon Age 2 will likely be presented next GamesCom on August 17th, and the launch date is scheduled for February 2011.

umors for now, but quite the rumor. According to Abstract360.com, the latest Famitsu issue has reported that many companies still have surprises prepared for the E3. But for Bethesda, that “surprise” segment is labeled as “secret”.

Some people talk about a possible Elder Scrolls MMO, while the website we mentioned above reminds readers of a previous news that said the new Elder Scrolls chapter would arrive on 2011. Who knows? We’ll have to wait for the E3 to finally see what secret Bethesda’s going to bring.
