Together with the movie project dedicated to the Prince of Persia saga, a new gaming chapter could be coming, at least it’s what some rumors have been saying lately.
On his Linkedin profile, Marc-Antoine Senecal from Ubisoft Montreal informs that he’s been working on a new Prince of Persa for a few months now, and at the same time, the saga’s creator, Jordan Mechner, has registered the title “Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands” hence protecting it with copyrights.
It could seem, however, that “Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands”, is nothing but the adaptation of the movie that will be coming next year. But… we’ll have to wait and see.

Well, we are glad we put it as a rumor, as it sounded a little too strange to be true, but we’ve found out that the rumors about a possible Twilight MMORPG were, indeed, fake.By visiting the website www.twilightthevideogame.com, we can figure some things out: it does seem that there’s a game being developed, but definitely not an MMO, but an Academic project that some students, including Brandon Gardner, who created the BrainJunk studios with his friends, but they do have the intentions of sending the completed game to Summit Entertainment.
It’s not an MMO, after all, and it’s definitely not a commercial game, so the rumors can be now considered fake.

Gamekyo has published an article in which they claim rumors that Twilight, the famous book series by Stephenie Meyer, could become an MMORPG.
Besides the image up above, there’s not much known about this. The French gaming site also mentions different classes distributed within the races seen in the books: humans, werewolves and vampires. Of course, if this isn’t just a rumor, we’ll be updating you as soon as more information comes.

We’ll treat it as a rumor for now, as it could be a true error or a new marketing plot from the guys at Electronic Arts, but the official Twitter account has shown a message that announced the development of Command & Conquer 4, with a link to an official communication and all that.
At this point, mistake or not, we think it’s more than appropriate to wait for something more, hoping that the next few hours will bring more explanations to this mystery. Considering it came from the official UK PR twitter site, it’s not that wrong to assume this is official explanation. But we will wait and see.

According to what was reported by Joystiq, it seems that Activision started thinking about the possibility of developing an MMO based on the Call of Duty series. The rumors started after someone heard Robert Kotick asking, during a conference: “What would be the natural evolution of a property like Call of Duty into a massively multiplayer environment — how do you monetize that?”.
Rumors, yes, but we wonder how many fans would jump on a Call of Duty MMO. If you have an opinion on the matter, leave us a comment!

During a press conference, John Pleasants from Electronic Arts has revealed the existance of two new titles not yet announced, even though the rumors had been going around for a while.
The first is Battlefield 3 which seems to be at a good point and in good hands, and not only the guys from DICE are apparently working on the title.
The second should be another Need for Speed, this time developed by the same team that worked on Burnout. We’ll have to wait and see whether these rumors become true.

According to a rumor found on the Cut Scene blog, Atari would be preparing an MMORPG based on the Neveriwnter Nights Franchise and scheduled to launch in the first months of 2011.
The rumor also says that this was reportedly the main reason why Atari was aiming to buy Cryptic Studios last year, who is currently working on Champions Online and Star Trek Online.
Obviously, there are no details about the game, and nothing has been officially confirmed or denied. Of course, a MMO based on NeverWinter Nights would certainly have a good number of fans.

The E3 fever is here and it’s not that strange to find many rumors about titles that will or will not be revealed during the gaming conference that will be held in Los Angeles from June 2nd to June 4th.
The big news today is about Left 4 Dead 2: according to many sources, it will be revealed by Valve. The rumors also talk about the first details of the game, dedicated to 4 new survivors that need to fight against zombie in the same way of those that we know from the first chapter of the title, with the introduction of a new “big and fast” enemy.
True or not? We’ll find out in the next few days.

The rumors about the PSP2 or PSP4000, however you prefer to call it, seem to be destined not to end until the new version of Sony’s portable console arrives in the market. The latest rumors claim, in fact, that such launch should come before Christmas this year.
The website PocketGamer.co.uk apparently has published some news where an anonymous developer that would be working on the new hardware said that the new console should arrive by the end of the year. Always according to the site, the PSP2 will have a large touchscreen with a slide display with all the analogical dual-stick controller buttons.
Labelling it as a rumor, of course, until official confirmation.
